At ECS Composites, our Finishers put the final touch on precision-machined parts before they move to the next stage of production. If you enjoy hands-on work, have a sharp eye for detail, and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to meet you.
Our schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving you a three-day weekend! Friday overtime may be required during peak production periods.
What You'll Be Doing- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined parts
- Finish parts using hand tools, grinders, files, sandpaper, and rotary tools
- Read blueprints and work orders
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identify and report quality concerns
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Support your team and assist with other duties as needed
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Enjoy working with your hands
- Ability to read blueprints (or willingness to learn)
- Experience using measuring tools is a plus
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Commitment to safety
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Stand for most of your shift
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the day
- Work in a manufacturing environment
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Wear required PPE
- Perform repetitive hand movements with accuracy
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
