Spreader Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the company in meeting its production goals by supervising all activities of assigned employees in the plywood manufacturing process; ensures a safe and efficient work environment by communicating and managing Company established quality, production, safety and human resource policies.

Must be willing to work any available shift, day, swing, graveyard or rotate.

• Supervises the plywood spreader process while managing staff, equipment and materials to achieve the highest safety, quality and production levels.
• Maintains quality control standards to maximize company profitability and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Conducts individual meetings and leads crew meetings to communicate pertinent information to employees.
• Completes administrative paperwork and reporting related to production reports, scheduling, personnel actions, payroll and safety.
• Responsible for supporting and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
