RN, Outpatient -SPUPU

About This Role

The RN participates as a member of the health care team in delivering quality health care to patients, addressing both acute and chronic needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to service and possess strong leadership and critical thinking skills.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour
• Location: Clackamas, OR
• Facility: Sunnybrook Medical Offices
• Department/Unit: Gastroenterology-Endoscopy
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide a variety of nursing services in person and by phone.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to service and socially relevant practice.
• Utilize critical thinking to problem solve and make decisions.
• Provide culturally sensitive nursing care to a diverse population.
• Facilitate effective team functioning and operations.
• Participate in outreach and in-reach activities to meet clinical targets.
• Develop teaching plans for health promotion and disease prevention.
• Document nursing care provided in compliance with standards.
• Apply effective oral and written communication skills.
• Act as an advocate for individuals and groups with unmet health needs.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in Critical Care.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support
