About the Role
Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional experiences and improve efficiency through the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.
Responsibilities- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary documentation, maintaining accurate record keeping.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
- Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines to achieve branch/district metric targets.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of internet environments.
- Successful completion of a 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel.
- Ability to obtain required security clearances for customer premises.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
- Hourly rate ranging from $19.00 to $26.31; eligible for transportation allowance.
