Diesel Mechanic

We're seeking a motivated and dependable technician to join our team in Grants Pass, OR, maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy-duty trucks. If you enjoy diagnosing complex mechanical issues, working with modern diagnostic equipment, and taking pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
As a diesel mechanic, you'll play a vital role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and scheduled services.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine performance issues using advanced diagnostic software and tools.
- Repair and replace components such as engines, fuel systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Perform DOT inspections and comprehensive vehicle safety inspections.
- Test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and software.
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and drive-train components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL is an asset but not required).
