Appointment: Full-time (1.0 E.F.)

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications

Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Contingent Upon: External funding

• Deliver group and individual adult education instruction, including high‑school equivalency preparation and integrated training.
• Develop training curricula and/or recommend or use vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with technical instructors to support high‑school equivalency students while they work toward family‑sustaining careers.
• Formulate training outlines and determine instructional methods that best suit adult learners (e.g., differentiated instruction, lectures, workshops, online).
• Coordinate administrative functions necessary to deliver and document education.
• Evaluate effectiveness of delivery methods and use data to recommend and implement changes.
• Review instructor performance and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation methods.
• Recruit, select, and train instructors.
• Lead, guide, and train staff, student employees, interns, and/or volunteers who perform related work.
• Coordinate and facilitate instruction with NMSU partner entities.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus at least three years of professional experience directly related to the duties outlined.
• Preferred:
  Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience.

Environment: Typical interior office setting.

Physical Effort: Light physical effort; up to two hours per day; handling average‑weight objects up to 10 pounds.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
