Job Description
Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Experience: C-Level
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare accounting and will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations as we continue to enhance our quality of care and meet our financial goals. This is a permanent position, requiring a commitment to our mission and values, and a willingness to adapt to and lead in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including subsidiaries and foreign operations.
- Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to management and the board of directors, including projections and special projects as required.
- Prepare short‑ and long‑term financial forecasts for internal management and external parties.
- Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms, and review firm performance.
- Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures, including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations, and other corporate policies.
- Ensure proficiency in corporate accounting, GAAP, SEC rules, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
- Oversee corporate and human resource activities such as employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance, coordinating across all company locations.
- Motivate teams to produce quality work within tight time frames while managing multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA, CMA, or other related certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in healthcare.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications, familiarity with accounting software, and a strong understanding of healthcare‑related financial regulations.
- Strong problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to forecast, analyze and interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to guide and motivate a financial team and work effectively with executives, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
