We're seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our team of compassionate caregivers. Our 25-bed critical access hospital allows our compassionate caregivers to provide excellent patient care in an environment that supports them in their professional growth and development. Cibola General Hospital is one hour from Albuquerque and close to Santa Fe. Known for its mild year‑round climate and outdoor activities, Grants NM offers low property taxes and inexpensive housing costs.

Cibola General Hospital provides services in general surgery, 24‑hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Pathology, Pediatric Dentistry, Podiatry, Primary Care and Radiology with X‑ray, CT, MRI. We have three operating rooms including a room for scopes. Clinics, Lab services, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Rehab.

Our RRT/CRTs assist with the prevention and care of lung diseases. supervises the administrative activities of Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Department.

Reports To:

Manager of Cardiopulmonary

Education/Licensure Requirements:
  • Associates Science Degree or 2‑year AMA Approved Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Holds the following credentials Registered or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT, CRT)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Licensed by State of New Mexico
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Generous shift differentials! ($5‑$8 per hour for nights)
Conditions of Employment:
  • Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check, reference checks and a post‑offer drug screen.
  • Must be employment eligible as verified by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Government Services Administration (GSA).
  • Tuberculin screening required annually
  • Hospital required vaccinations
  • Must be able to meet the physical conditions of the position
