Full-Time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Grants, NM
The organization seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a trusted partner in Grants, NM. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional maternal and neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain management.
- Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures when necessary.
- Educate and support patients and families on the birthing process and postnatal care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Valid RN license in New Mexico (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
