This role is a temp-to-perm operating room circulator registered nurse position in Grants, New Mexico. The position offers up to $2,850 per week and focuses on coordinating surgical care, ensuring a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:Function as a Circulator RN in the OR, coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process
Prepare the OR for procedures by ensuring necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout the surgery and report any changes
Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Communicate effective with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other members of the surgical team
Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license)
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Associate of Science in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience
CNOR certification a plus
Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
You hold an active NM RN license and BLS/ACLS. You have at least one year recent OR circulator experience. You can coordinate sterile OR environments and monitor patient vitals
