VFR Pilot

Job Summary

PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) is seeking a skilled pilot to fly AS350B3e VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required). The role requires 24‑hour operations with day/night rotation, aircraft transition for the first year, and relocation package available with a 2‑year service requirement if used.

• Perform line pilot duties as per Standard Operating Procedures and GOM regulations.
• Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other safety campaigns.
• Assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment, including lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.

• Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings.
• First class medical certification.
• CAMTS requirement: 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 hours PIC helicopters, 500 hours turbine helicopters, 100 hours unaided night operations (or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours NVG).
• 235-pound body weight maximum.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass pre‑placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
• Annual flu vaccine not required.

• Competitive pay with shift bonuses, shift incentives, annual safety bonus, and annual employee bonus.
• Sign‑on bonus up to $75,000 and location bonus up to 30%.
