Position Purpose
To assist the Behavior and Operations Administrator (BOA) in enacting the systems and supports for the efficient management of student behaviors and building operations.
Primary ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction and supervision of the BOA, duties include:
- Student behavior development, preventative activities, student discipline, student attendance, operations, and safety.
- Active monitoring of hallways, coordination of traffic (human and vehicle) and transportation operations, prompting students to class.
- Deescalating student behaviors that interfere with classroom activities and refocusing students to return to class.
- Investigating and documenting incidents, providing reports to BOA, disciplining minor behaviors.
- Building and analyzing attendance reports.
- Meeting with students and parents to improve attendance.
- Coordinating resources and activities to ensure student safety.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Travel RequirementsTravel between schools, or between schools and central offices, may be required for certain positions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and perform arithmetic operations as needed.
- Ability to understand, apply, and use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to communicate with staff, parents, students, and other community members in a respectful and professional manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, and others.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, and others contacted in the course of work.
- Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
Works in standard office and school building environments.
Qualifications Profile- Must be a minimum of 21 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior successful clerical experience preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Non-exempt.
Contract- 29 hours per week.
- Equal Pay.
- Daily schedule to be determined by the Principal.
- 177 days per year.
- Support Professional Employees Salary Schedule, Level E1.
- Non-Benefit Eligible.
