Quality Technician

Job Overview

The Quality Technician ensures product quality by creating and performing inspections, tests, and documentation in accordance with established procedures and specifications at Jabil, Inc.

• Perform in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
• Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Support the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems.
• Adhere to all Jabil quality management system (QMS) procedures and work instructions.

• 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience with various inspection tools and methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards is a plus.
