Supplier Quality Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to work directly with one of our key customers at our manufacturing facility. As the main point of contact, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Technician and manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes. You will be instrumental in working with suppliers and issuing Corrective Actions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for a specific customer at the manufacturing facility.
- Manage and own the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
- Collaborate with the Quality Technician to ensure quality assurance and control.
- Work directly with suppliers to improve quality standards and issue Corrective Actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
- Experience in quality engineering and supplier quality management.
- Proficiency in developing corrective action plans.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, but flexible on education.
Work Environment
The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that produces products for multiple customers. The quality team includes a Site Quality Manager, two other Supplier Quality Engineers, and three Quality Technicians. The facility is experiencing significant growth, having expanded from one to three customers this year and planning to add two to five more customers next year.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grantsville, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61.44 - $64.85/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
