Assistant Grocery Manager - Full-Time

Must have open availability. Hourly rate based on experience, $18.00 is starting pay.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in a well-stocked shelf, knows what "fresh" actually means, and genuinely enjoys helping customers find what they need. As a key player in our Grocery and Frozen departments, you'll help set the tone for the whole store - training new team members, keeping product moving, and making sure every customer walks out happy.

• Keep our grocery and frozen sections stocked, fresh, and beautifully presented
• Receive and rotate product, build eye-catching displays, and pull anything past its prime
• Order product based on real sales trends - not guesswork
• Double-check pricing and signage so customers always trust what they see
• Train and mentor new associates, helping them grow into confident team members
• Partner closely with the Store Director(s) to keep operations running smoothly
• Help maintain a store that's clean, safe, and something we're proud of every day

• 5+ years of grocery or retail experience preferred (a mix of education, training, and experience also works)
• Solid basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• A real passion for customer service and a knack for staying organized
• Clear, confident communication - you can talk to anyone and handle conflict with professionalism
• A self-starter mindset: you take feedback well and own your results
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to earn your Forklift Certification
• Comfortable being on your feet all shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a mix of temperatures
