Real Estate company with 30+ years of success across Texas is hiring a Bookkeeper / Accountant to support its growing operations across DFW, Houston, and Austin.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys:- Multi‑entity accounting
- Job cost accounting
- Working independently within a small, experienced team
- Stable companies with realistic hours and low turnover
- Manage accounting for multiple related entities (7–10 companies)
- Handle AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support construction loan draws and development accounting activities
- Assist with job cost accounting and intercompany transactions
- Partner directly with experienced leadership and the Controller
- 3‑5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong multi‑entity accounting background
- Comfortable in a transactional accounting‑heavy role
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Construction, real estate, or development accounting experience is a plus but not required
- Degree NOT required
- 30+ year stable company
- Long‑tenured leadership team
- Company‑paid healthcare (employee coverage)
- Predictable onsite schedule
- Strong training and onboarding support
