Billing Resolutions Analyst

The Billing Resolutions Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving billing discrepancies, customer account issues, and payment disputes to ensure accurate invoicing and timely revenue collection. This role collaborates with customers, internal departments, and third-party partners to investigate complex billing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, disputes, and account discrepancies.
• Review invoices, contracts, payment records, and account history to identify billing errors.
• Research root causes of billing issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and IT to resolve complex billing problems.
• Monitor aging billing issues and ensure timely resolution within established service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, resolutions, and customer communications.
• Analyze billing trends and prepare reports identifying recurring issues and opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Support billing system testing, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Other Functions:

• Special projects- where needed individual will be required to be involved in company initiatives.
• Experience investigating and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP, billing, CRM, or revenue management systems.
