Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical, Admin Assistant
Overview
Under close supervision, this position performs duties such as scanning, organizing, filing, making copies, answering the telephones, assisting customers as a backup to other positions in the department, as well as performing general office duties and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Experience or class studies in word processing or typing.
- Good knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formatting.
- Ability to focus on accuracy and precision when completing tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain structure in daily activities.
- Ability to operate both independently and in collaboration with others.
High school diploma or GED required. Experience with working in an office environment is preferred. Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and credit check. Must have a valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires the ability to work in an office environment where the noise level is usually moderate.
