Principle Auto is hiring an experienced Used Car Technician to join our rapidly growing Volkswagen of Grapevine dealership. This role is key to ensuring the highest quality of reconditioning and repair for our pre-owned vehicles. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where enthusiasm, precision, and integrity are valued every day.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and document concerns and issues on trade-in vehicles.
Perform all reconditioning tasks to prepare vehicles for resale.
Conduct advanced diagnostic tests, including electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and collaborate effectively with other technicians and associates.
Ensure timely completion of repairs and meet dealership quality standards.
Qualifications:
Local candidates only.
2+ years of technician and/or dealership experience (Volkswagen experience preferred).
Previous dealership and ADP/CDK experience highly valued.
Verifiable ASE certifications are a plus.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic, urgency, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and handle heavy objects.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Flexible schedule, including Saturdays and some holidays.
