• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician, preferred

• Service Department
  
  Hours:
  
  Monday‑Friday 7:00‑18:00, Saturdays 8:00‑17:00, Sundays closed
• Open availability to work any shift Monday‑Saturday;
  Saturdays are rotating (specific schedule to be determined during interview)

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time‑clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools and return special tools to the proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace; complete daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned clean as before service.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing required training.
• Participate in technical training as assigned by management.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, personnel, or customers.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards per departmental policies.
• Arrive, take breaks, and depart work at times designated by management.
