Job Description

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for CMAR and negotiated construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop budgets and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Lead preconstruction efforts, including bid preparation and subcontractor/vendor pricing negotiations.
• Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures throughout the estimation process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Estimator - CMAR/Negotiated should have:

• Proven expertise in CMAR and negotiated construction projects, particularly in K-12, healthcare, municipal, or higher education sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project documents and specifications.
• Experience with preconstruction processes, budgeting, and cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and project teams.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
• A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring project success.
