Directs the Engineering team in the execution of all Mechanical/Electrical related maintenance, repairs and projects to provide the successful operation and safety of all mechanical and electrical systems. Manages the daily operation of all Mechanical/Electrical systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 3 years’ experience electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance, operations management, or related professional area
• OR 2-year graduate degree in Engineering; 2 years’ experience electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance, operations management, or related professional area

• Managing Mechanical/Electrical Operations:
  Manages the daily operation of all Mechanical/Electrical systems including electrical systems, pools, HVAC, kitchen and refrigeration.
• Managing the operating budget for Mechanical/Electrical systems.
• Supervising all electrical and mechanical projects, associated proposals and construction documentation.
• Developing and maintaining a progressive energy management program.
• Handling all energy conservation issues.
• Developing, administering, and tracking electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervising improvements and modifications of all mechanical and electrical systems within the confines of the property.
• Performing routine inspections of all kitchens, mechanical and electrical rooms and assign tasks as needed.
• Coordinating system repairs and enhancements with vendors and contractors.

• Supervises the daily activities and performance of the Mechanical/Electrical Engineering staff.
• Manages the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team to be in compliance with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.
• Serves as the Manager on Duty for the entire Engineering division.

• Interviews, selects and trains employees.
• Appraises employees’ productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status.
• Provides for the safety and security of the employees or the property.
• Monitors employee attendance and records absences/tardiness.
• Helps direct supervisors to achieve their own development goals.
• Conducts annual performance appraisal with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures.
