About the Role

This role is strictly focused on computer hardware testing. Candidates with software-only backgrounds will not be a fit. Hands‑on experience with physical components, devices, and lab testing environments is required. We are seeking a Test Engineer to support hands‑on testing of computer hardware systems and components throughout development and manufacturing. This role works directly with physical devices, circuit‑level components, and system builds in a lab/production environment.

The position is based in Grapevine, TX, with occasional support needed at the Fort Worth site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on testing of computer hardware systems, components, and assemblies
  • Develop and execute hardware test procedures for new and existing products
  • Work directly with motherboards, processors, peripherals, and system builds
  • Collect and analyze data from physical testing of devices and components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware failures and performance issues
  • Validate product functionality during manufacturing and quality control stages
  • Use lab equipment to test electrical, mechanical, and system‑level performance
  • Document findings and recommend design or process improvements
  • Support production floor testing and hardware validation processes
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve hardware issues
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • OR 2+ years of hands‑on hardware testing experience
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware architecture (NOT software development)
  • Experience working with physical systems, components, and lab equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware‑level issues (boards, systems, peripherals)
  • Basic scripting (Python, C++, CMD, XML) for test automation support only
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance.
