Seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and performance. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will provide leadership and direction for all financial functions, ensure fiscal responsibility, and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and compliance, while serving as a trusted advisor to the President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy aligned with business goals and long-term growth.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate new initiatives, investments, and expansion opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and present clear, actionable reports to leadership.
- Establish and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
- Oversee accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management functions.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial systems.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and relationships with external advisors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate staffing, training, and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree (MBA or similar) and/or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with senior management experience required.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
