Senior Controller
Location:
Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex Corner Stone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Controller for an opportunity with a leading, high profile organization in the DFW area. This role serves as a key financial partner to operational leadership, driving strategic decision-making, financial planning, and process improvements across the business. Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leadership to manage departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cost analysis, capital project evaluations, and scenario modeling
* Oversee daily financial operations such as accruals, account analysis, and funding oversight for contracts and projects
* Provide guidance on complex accounting and financial matters, ensuring alignment with GAAP and organizational standards
* Develop and enhance processes to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy
* Lead financial review meetings, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to leadership
* Mentor and support junior finance team members while fostering a strong financial discipline across departments Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
* 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or business analysis
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial modeling concepts such as NPV and IRR
* Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, People Soft, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
