Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) to join a fast-paced imaging team on a 13-week travel assignment
. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations while ensuring patient safety, exceptional image quality, and compliance with radiation safety standards. Experience supporting minor operating room procedures using C-Arm/O-Arm is required.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Position and prepare patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and accurate patient identification.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA and radiation safety guidelines.
- Assist with minor operating room procedures using C-Arm and O-Arm imaging equipment.
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and provide clear instructions before, during, and after exams.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical record system.
- Perform routine equipment checks, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
- Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and departmental safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with training new staff when needed.
- Minimum 3 years of Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) experience
. - Experience assisting with minor OR procedures using C-Arm and O-Arm
. - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Active Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License
. - BLS certification (AHA).
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Shift is 10 hrs/night Mon-Thu between (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 40 hrs/week
