Radiologic Technologist – Nights – Grapevine, TX – $60/hour – 13-Week Contract Night Shift – Mon–Thurs – 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Radiologic Technologist to join a fast-paced Full Service Medical Center in Grapevine, TX. This opportunity is ideal for a confident technologist who thrives in high-acuity environments and can work independently while delivering exceptional patient care and imaging quality.
Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of a Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures for emergency, ambulatory, and hospital patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong trauma and emergency department experience and the ability to efficiently manage a busy imaging workload overnight.
Schedule4x10's Monday–Thursday 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (NOC Shift)
Compensation & Assignment Details$60/hour 13-week assignment. Contract position. Temporary assignment. Scrub color:
Maroon color.
- ARRT Certification required
- TX-MRT License required
- BLS Certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 3 years of Radiology Tech experience (assisting in minor OR cases (C-arm/O-arm)).
- Must be confident working independently
- Perform high‑quality radiologic imaging procedures according to department protocols
- Ensure accurate patient identification and exam verification using AIDET communication principles
- Position patients appropriately and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain radiation safety standards and monitor radiation dose levels
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain exams to ease anxiety and improve cooperation
- Maintain sterile technique and infection‑control standards when required
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain records within department systems
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance or operational concerns
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff
- Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency in a high‑volume trauma setting
- Calm and composed under pressure
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Experienced in emergency and trauma imaging procedures
- Team‑oriented while capable of working autonomously
