EMT, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Services ​/ EMS

Marriott is seeking a dedicated EMT to support guest and associate safety at our world-class hospitality properties. In this role, you'll respond to on-site medical emergencies, deliver high-quality Basic Life Support, and coordinate with local EMS. You'll assess and stabilize patients, document care, and maintain medical equipment and supplies. Working within Marriott's people-first, team-focused culture, you'll participate in safety training, drills, and continuous development while helping ensure a safe, welcoming environment for travelers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to medical emergencies across the hotel and resort property, providing immediate assessment and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Stabilize guests and associates, administer first aid, CPR, AED use, oxygen, and other approved interventions within EMT scope of practice.
• Evaluate patient condition, gather medical history, and document all care provided in accurate, timely incident and medical reports.
• Coordinate with hotel security, management, and local EMS/fire agencies to ensure seamless transfer of care and scene safety.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment, AEDs, first aid supplies, and emergency response kits; report and replace defective items.
• Educate hotel staff on basic emergency response procedures, first aid awareness, and proper use of emergency communication channels.
• Support risk management efforts by identifying safety hazards and recommending preventive measures throughout the property.
• Provide calm, empathetic communication to guests and staff during stressful incidents, preserving Marriott's service standards.
• Assist with crowd control and area security during major incidents while maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and certification maintenance to stay current with EMS protocols and hospitality safety practices.
