BILT is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team in Grapevine, Texas, to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of our mobile and spatial computing platforms (iOS, Android, vision

OS). This role is critical to supporting federal contracts, requiring current U.S. citizenship and strict adherence to FedRAMP standards to ensure the reliability and security of our cloud-based solutions for government clients.

Responsibilities
  • Testing web applications, mobile applications and Windows desktop applications
  • Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Create and manage test suites to cover new and existing functionality.
  • Perform API testing, Mobile testing, functional testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QAs to ensure quality across all releases.
  • Work in AWS-based environments for testing and validation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing, including API testing.
  • Ability to write and maintain automated tests (Selenium, Appium).
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and Windows desktop apps.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools
  • Experience working in AWS-based environments.
  • Strong communication skills for bug reporting and collaboration.
  • Security testing experience
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing standards.
Qualifications
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Citizenship
    : Current U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract stipulations and FedRAMP compliance. Candidates must provide verifiable proof of citizenship (e.g., passport, birth certificate).
  • Experience
    :
    • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or related roles for mobile or web applications.
    • Experience with 3D interactive content or augmented reality (AR) testing is a plus.
    • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and conducting technical interviews.
Work Environment
  • This role is based at BILT’s Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas, near DFW Airport and Southlake Town Square.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, tablets, phones, email, and FedRAMP-compliant communication platforms like Microsoft Teams).
  • Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Office hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with convenient parking and nearby amenities.
  • Federal contract work may require coordination with government stakeholders and adherence to secure development practices.
