Job Type: Full-Time | Location: On-Site (Grapevine, TX)

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their growing IT team in Grapevine, TX. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for end-user support across a fast-paced enterprise environment supporting 1,400+ users. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, broad technical exposure, and the ability to independently solve problems across desktop, hardware, software, collaboration, and infrastructure-related support needs.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • 3–5 years of progressive desktop support or end-user support experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting a broad range of hardware, software, collaboration, and infrastructure technologies. Exposure to Azure AD/Entra  is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory account administration and permissions management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, and user support/troubleshooting.
  • Basic Power Shell scripting experience for automation, troubleshooting, or administrative tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and research skills with the ability to independently find solutions.
  • Industry certifications or military technical experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Provide day-to-day desktop and end-user support for a large enterprise user base across hardware, software, conferencing, and productivity tools.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive.
  • Perform Active Directory account creation, modifications, password resets, and permissions support.
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues.
  • Write and maintain basic Power Shell scripts to assist with support, automation, and administration tasks.
  • Support web conferencing platforms, AV technologies, and user training needs.
  • Assist with workstation imaging, deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle management projects.
  • Partner with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams as needed to support escalated issues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism when supporting users at all levels of the organization.
