Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job SummarySeeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients by managing their commercial insurance needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Compensation Package- Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, details to be provided during the interview process.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, addressing coverage questions and service requests via phone and email.
- Issue certificates of insurance and process endorsements, including adding/removing vehicles, locations, drivers, or coverage changes.
- Prepare and transmit renewal submissions and underwriting data to carriers; negotiate terms and pricing directly with underwriters alongside the Field Agent.
- Review policies, quotes, and binders for accuracy before delivering them to clients.
- Maintain the expiration/suspense list in Applied Epic to track upcoming renewals and ensure timely marketing.
- Prepare and update client renewal reviews prior to policy expiration.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of premium transactions and audits issued by carriers before invoicing and distribution.
- Order renewal coverages and prepare/distribute binders, invoices, and finance agreements.
- Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities, flagging account rounding potential to the Field Agent.
- Handle basic claims documentation, with the majority of claims-related work managed by the claims team.
- Licenses/Designations:
Property & Casualty (P&C) license required. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Software Proficiency:
Applied Epic experience is required. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional demeanor and accountability in all interactions.
