Supervisor, Gateway Air Export

• Supervise and coordinate a team of air export coordinators
• Monitor and manage the flow of export shipments
• Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements and company policies
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders
• Resolve shipment delays, damages, and customs clearance problems
• Ensure accurate and complete air waybills, commercial invoices, and other export documents
• Provide excellent customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export controls, and hazardous materials regulations
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality
• Handle hiring, training, and performance management for air export coordinators

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or a related field is preferred
• Equivalent experience in the transportation and logistics industry may be considered
• Strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation, and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, required
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Master's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or a related field preferred
• Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as CLP or CSCP preferred
• Experience in project management or process improvement initiatives preferred
• Familiarity with Cargo Wise or Cargospot preferred

Demonstrates strong knowledge of air export operations, compliance with customs regulations, and proficiency in documentation processes. Capable of leading a team, enhancing service quality, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
