SUMMARY
The Logistics Coordinator supports Incab America LLC by managing and optimizing supply chain logistics, ensuring the efficient movement of incoming and outgoing international shipments. This role involves coordinating transportation, streamlining distribution processes, and collaborating with suppliers and carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and to maintain timely and cost-effective delivery operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
- Plan, schedule, and track inbound and outbound international shipments.
- Communicate inbound and outbound international shipment schedules to ensure alignment with production needs.
- Provide updates on shipping timelines and inventory availability. Support demand planning and forecasting efforts.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, procurement, sales, planning, and production teams to address and resolve all logistical challenges and concerns that may arise. throughout the delivery process.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements. Resolve shipping or supply chain issues proactively.
- Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Navigate and complete appropriate customs forms and paperwork.
- Work with domestic logistics coordinator to arrange domestic transportation after import clearance.
- Ensure company is in compliance with all customs programs and stipulations.
Manage a portfolio of prime carriers and freight forwarders to ensure reliable logistics partnerships and optimize transportation options.
- Utilize systems and logistics management tools to coordinate production needs, ensuring on-time deliveries and effective communication between all stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bill of lading and packing lists, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure accurate and complete shipping documents are distributed internally and externally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, local. federal, international shipping regulations, and transportation laws.
- Work with the Accounting team to manage logistics budgets and expenses effectively.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent, required; 4-year degree, strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and client relations skills, required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly in Excel and Outlooks, required.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions, required.
- Working knowledge of freight terms.
- Experience in fiber optics, utility, manufacturing, or warehouse sector, strongly preferred.
- Proficient in using various shipping and logistics company portals for managing shipments and tracking deliveries.
- Knowledge of utilization of international ocean, air, and ground shipping
- Ability to understand and complete import/export documentation, import duties and tariffs, and customs procedures.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Works well within a goal setting-and-meeting environment.
- Works on-site within typical business hours (8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday).
- Works reasonable overtime hours to fulfill shipments or update customers on urgent, high-priority tasks.
- Collaborates positively with team members in a fast-paced work environment.

- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
- High attention to detail and communicates discrepancies to team members for collaborative review.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasionally required to walk throughout the warehouse.
- Required regularly to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Able to work occasionally in a loud environment subject to machine and tool noise.
- Ability to work occasionally indoors in a hot, noisy warehouse environment.
