Job Description:
The Senior Development Manager operates independently leading a technical team focused on designing and developing features for applications used by store associates across 2,000+ retail locations. This role oversees team performance, manages project deliverables, and collaborates closely with business stakeholders and cross‑functional IT groups. Additionally, the Senior Development Manager is responsible for establishing and refining processes that ensure the delivery of high‑quality solutions, while maintaining exceptional service standards for both store associates and key stakeholders.
This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Establish and monitor project objectives, resource leveling, timelines, milestones & deadlines ensuring all project deliverables are met according to schedule and accepted by customers to ensure smooth project transition and operational status.
- Work with business partners to clarify, scope and prioritize their requests for enhancements and modifications.
- Ensure that all projects meet Game Stop security requirements and testing.
- Manage the software development lifecycle and technical risks throughout all projects inclusive of ongoing operational costs.
- Ensure/facilitate communication with other cross functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Stay at the leading edge of evolving industry standards and practices
