Material Handler
Essential Functions
- Operate manual materials‑handling equipment to move large volumes of materials.
- Load and unload materials, move pallets.
- Process orders; handle inventory, retrieval of component parts.
- Use of software to create shipping labels.
- Stage and deliver materials in a timely manner.
- Deliver product within the facility based on Ship To Info.
- Complete packing slip verification and file appropriately.
- Follow best practices in maintaining a safe work environment and facility.
- Must be able to follow management instruction and work independently to meet schedules.
- Occasional use of light hand tools.
- General maintenance and cleaning related tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and processes.
- Physical exertion is common to many tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, sit, and climb stairs.
- Steel‑toe shoes required.
- Safety glasses required.
- Ability to work overtime, as assigned.
$20 - $20 an hour
