Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Press Brake Operator based in Grapevine, TX. The Press Brake Operator will set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery to form metal components according to engineering drawings, work orders, and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting and installing appropriate tooling, performing test runs, and verifying part dimensions using measuring tools.

The role involves monitoring machine performance, making routine adjustments, identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues, and collaborating with supervisors and production team members to meet deadlines. The operator will also be expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, complete production and inspection records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in machine operation, including setup, adjustment, and safe operation of press brake equipment.
  • Strong quality control focus, with experience inspecting parts, using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, tape measures), and documenting results.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on machinery, identify root causes of issues, and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
  • Familiarity with pre‑press or pre‑production preparation, such as reviewing drawings, verifying materials, and confirming setups before runs.
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment, preferably with AMADA press brake operations.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and safely handle tools and equipment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
