Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our team in Grapevine, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse or production area. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview- The Materials Handler is responsible for handling the company's incoming and outgoing materials in a way that ensures all materials are counted, received, and handled without damages.
- Responsible for loading and unloading all incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Responsible for inspecting and documenting, including pictures, any damages to loads.
- Responsible for operating various forklift trucks to transfer reels and materials.
- Responsible for loading warehouse dumpster.
- Conducting physical inventory, which includes routine counting, verification, inventory audits, weekly cycle‑counting and quarterly inventory counts.
- Engaging in activities to prevent loss or damage of materials.
- General housekeeping of warehouse, offices, and equipment.
- Working with Materials team, Management and Support staff on improving warehouse processes.
- Prepare all required components for production, transfer materials to production area to support production in‑process.
- Physically transfer material to/from manufacturing areas for production teams and update Inventory Specialist of any change of location.
- Receive inbound material and reels. Perform a 3‑way check. Verify that items listed on the shipper's documentation match the quantity, invoice number, purchase order number, serial, lot, type, or reel number, of items physically received. Report any discrepancies to management.
- Package finished goods and prepare for shipment. Inspect finished goods for any missing documentation, labels, markings, damage to finished goods or packaging.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in warehouse (indoor) and yard/loading dock (outdoor) environments.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Competent understanding of addition and subtraction; able to relate the mathematical operations to the warehouse function.
- MUST be punctual, independent, productive, and have a can‑do attitude.
- 1+ years of warehouse inventory experience required.
- 4+ years of material handling experience strongly preferred.
- 1+ years forklift experience preferred (OSHA approved forklift certification strong preferred).
Prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping, pushing, hitting, and pulling. Required regularly to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds unassisted for extended periods of time as needed. Visual acuity to read manuals, operate machines, and inspect parts.
Able to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8‑hour shift. Able to work in a loud environment subject to machine and tool noise. Able to work with hand tools for unpacking and breaking down pallets. Ability to work some of the time outdoors in any weather condition.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Class C drivers' license required.
