If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Grapevine, TX. Our healthcare partner is looking for a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join their team on a travel assignment. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise and compassion can make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients. Your role will involve:
- Conducting accurate clinical assessments and prioritizing patient needs
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilizing EPIC for electronic medical documentation
- Floating to either ER or PCU as needed
- Working variable weekends and being on-call
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of ICU experience
- Experience with EPIC systems
- Preferred neuro experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
