Job Title:

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine as a Registered Nurse in our fast‑paced Emergency Department unit.

Shift: Full‑time, 10am-10pm. Patient ratios 1:4. Beds: 29 plus hallway beds. Level II Trauma Center;
Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and more.

Patient population includes all ages, acuities, stages of life and types.

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Build therapeutic relationships, communicate professionally and empathetically.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members, assessing learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop care plans, delegate tasks, and follow up.
• Use critical thinking to solve problems and ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Participate in teamwork, mentor colleagues, and contribute to community service.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification (or obtain within 30 days).
• Minimum 1 year recent hospital acute care ED experience.
