The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role focuses on supporting patients with daily living activities, promoting comfort and safety, and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating .Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly

Assist with patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment

Document care provided and update patient records accurately

Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with procedures and care tasks

Qualifications & Requirements Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas.

High school diploma or equivalent

Current CPR and proof of auto insurance

Valid Driver’s License Must pass drug test Basic knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology

Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods

Knowledge of Point Care charting system preferred but not required.

Work EnvironmentCNAs work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care.

Ability to safely move or assist patients

Manual dexterity for patient care tasks
