Detox​/Psych Registered Nurse; Nights

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑Time (6:30 pm – 7:00 am)

Valley Hope of Grapevine, between Dallas and Fort Worth.

• Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions for each patient.
• Implements nursing care in accordance with Valley Hope’s medical philosophies, policies, and procedures.
• Conducts detox admissions and provides care during the detoxification process, including pre‑screening, physical assessment, and monitoring.
• Records treatment activities and patient observations accurately and promptly; completes all required paperwork.
• Communicates with nursing supervisors, staff, and clinical teams regarding patient treatment and status.
• Follows established policies and procedures for all medical emergencies such as convulsions, suicides, and delirium tremens.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment by applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.
• Oversees non‑licensed nursing staff as directed by the nursing director.

• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• One (1) year of clinical nursing care experience.
• Prior experience in substance abuse or behavioral health settings.

• Starting base pay up to $43 per hour (based on experience and education).

• Night shift: $5.00 per hour.
• Weekend night: $5.50 per hour.
• Weekend day: $1.00 per hour.
