** THIS IS A PRN POSITION FOR DENTON TX AREA
** The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role focuses on supporting patients with daily living activities, promoting comfort and safety, and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating .
* Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
* Assist with patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment
* Document care provided and update patient records accurately
* Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with procedures and care tasks
** Qualifications & Requirements
*** Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Current CPR and proof of auto insurance
* Valid Driver’s License
* Must pass drug test
* Basic knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology
* Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods
* ** Knowledge of Point Care charting system preferred but not required.
