Available Schedules

Position 1 – 34 Hours/Week

  • Tuesday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Thursday: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
  • On-Call:
    Every Thursday, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every 6th Weekend Call:
    Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position 2 – 32 Hours/Week

  • Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:30 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
  • On-Call:
    Every Friday, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every 6th Weekend Call:
    Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN License
  • BLS (AHA) Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Critical Care RN experience
  • At least 1 year of recent inpatient acute care PACU experience
  • Ability to participate in on-call and weekend rotation
Position Summary

The PACU Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, pain management, and ensuring a safe recovery while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, monitor, and care for patients during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery phase.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and pain management interventions.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations as scheduled.
