Summary
The Label Maker Tech is responsible for pre-printing correct kitting labels and supplying to kitting production areas in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.
Daily Responsibilities
- Review BOM frequently for any changes may impact Labels.
- Requires daily communication and planning with PE/TE(Product and Test Engineer) regarding BOM requirements.
- Prepare Label Plans and label files for products being repaired at SMS.
- Create Mapping tables for PN and designated labels.
- Understand and follow FCI(Final Configuration Instructions) and FAI (First Article Inspection) program instructions.
- Prepare/update Sops accordingly.
- Monitor/Resolve daily label related issue in production and report with possible root cause and solution.
- Meet or exceed daily KPI metrics.
Education and/or Experience
- Requires bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Must know MS-Office programs specially formulas.
- Must have moderate Data base knowledge like but not limited to Hierarchy, centralized, relational, Network, Distributional etc..
- Must have Barcode program experience prefer Codesoft
- Must have Printers knowledge, includes regular maintenance
- Must be able to stand and move around the facility.

Working Conditions
Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 60 pounds (using team lift) with help.
