Clerk - QC - Server Repair Dept. VIII

Summary The QC Inspector is responsible for the inspection, testing, and verification of various customer devices within the Whole‑Unit‑Repair Depot Rushmore.

• Daily Responsibilities (90% of job):
  Perform visual inspections, identify assembly issues such as missing screws, labels, defective plastics.
• Perform software/hardware testing on Windows (7,8,8.1,10, Enterprise) and ChromeOS.
• Perform documentation verification – Traveler Form and physical unit verification.
• Ensure 45‑55 units inspected within an eight‑hour period and maintain a 97.5% pass‑rate through Out‑of‑Box Audit (OBA).
• Must be available to work overtime hours and additional hours on Saturdays (7:00 am‑3:15 pm) unless otherwise notified.
• Build and maintain a work environment that is positive, organized, and clean at all times (5% of job).
• Support the company’s culture and foster a healthy, safe work environment (5% of job).

• High‑school graduate or equivalent. Prefer college degree in business or computer science.
• 0–1 year experience in repair depot or quality control fields.
• Basic knowledge of Windows‑based operating systems is required.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with a temp agency.

• Pay close attention to detail to identify order discrepancies and resolve variances.
• Remove devices from packaging and repackage without causing damage.
• Transport devices between departments and to outbound shipping stations.
• Focus on detail and work under pressure.

Must tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Conditions include being hot in summer, cold in winter. Walks for an extensive period; reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
