Supervisor - Black Sheep Coffee

Hours: 40 Contracted Hours Per Week

Pay: $16 Per Hour

Schedule: Varied shifts Mon-Sun, including opening and closing

We’re looking for the best front of house Supervisors in town to drive up our sales, service, and morale. With a background in leading a team within the hospitality or retail sector you will be able to thrive in this fast-paced and rewarding role.

• Make amazing coffee and products - dial in the perfect espresso, pour eye-catching latte art, and serve quality food and drinks every time. Ensuring your team do too.
• Deliver unforgettable customer service - provide a friendly, genuine customer experience at the register and professionally handle customer complaints and escalations.
• Thrive in a physical and fast-paced environment - work with speed and efficiency during peak periods while maintaining quality and accuracy. Operate espresso machinery, lift and unpack stock. Prolonged standing, walking and repetitive movements related to drink preparation and cleaning on shift.
• Manage compliant cash-
  up and bank drops - Follow all cash-handling, safety, and security procedures.
• Be a true team player - Support ad hoc tasks assigned by General Manager, help train new team and communicate clearly and calmly during every shift.
• Take pride in the details - maintain a clean, safe workspace and represent the brand with positivity and professionalism. Complete daily and shift-based cleaning, food prep, compliance checklists.
• Keep service running smoothly and drive sales – place and receive stock orders to always ensure full availability.
• Lead by example - motivate and train the team on the required behavioral standards, company policies related to attendance, timekeeping, food safety, and workplace conduct.

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Previous management experience within coffee or food service industry
• Clean and well-maintained appearance. No fake nails, nail polish, or false lashes are to be worn on shift.
• Flexible availability, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is published 3 weeks in advance.

Striving not only to rid the world of boring coffee but to do this sustainably and ethically. Our coffee is sourced straight from plantation and our cups are fully recyclable.
