Seasonal Sales Associate
A day in the life of a Seasonal Sales Associate at The North Face involves bringing energy, authenticity, and a customer‑first mindset to every interaction. You will create memorable shopping experiences by engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and delivering exceptional service while contributing to the store’s success through sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
- Build sales by maintaining a consumer‑centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
- Share relevant product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
- Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Perform cashier duties and support loss‑prevention initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready store environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 0–1 year of relevant retail or customer‑service experience.
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing business needs.
- Will willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
- Physical ability to stand, move, and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight.
This is a part‑time or limited‑time position (e.g., internship) and is not eligible for all of the benefit plans offered at VF Corporation; however, it may support the store during peak season with a potential to transition to regular employment. Compensation is based on market pay data and complies with all applicable laws.
