The Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experience, and executing day‑to‑day store operations. The Sales Associate supports the team by following customer engagement strategies, and maintaining merchandising standards that support a positive customer experience. • Ensure excellence in customer service by upholding high retail standards, ensuring an in‑store experience that aligns with company standards.
• Initiate conversations with all customers, building relationships to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
• Assist customers in the fitting room.
• Recommend products that are aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourage the customer to make a purchase.
• Build brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieving weekly loyalty sign‑up goals.
• Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
• Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Provide information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
• Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures as assigned, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point‑of‑sale integrity.
• Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
• React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
• Participate in loss‑prevention audits, understand and comply with company loss‑prevention policies to minimize store shrink.

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• This role requires a minimum availability of 12 hours per week including one weekend day; additional availability is a plus.

• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
• Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
• Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
• Walk and move to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
• Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
