Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker)

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on experience

• Provide friendly, courteous, and respectful customer service in person and on the phone.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions for pawn items.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.
• Interact with customers daily, helping with sales and negotiating on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer service, cashier, or retail role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivated, positive and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test (after conditional offer).
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
• Sales background is a plus.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Start as a Trainee in a 5‑week paid training program, earn a $0.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker; then enter the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hour; progress to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) and eventually Assistant Manager with a 6‑month training program.
