About Red Door Three & Trade Show Savvy LLC
Red Door Three designs, builds, and manages trade show exhibits for clients across the United States. Our work spans custom builds, portable systems, show-services management, installation and dismantle coordination, permanent installations, and exhibit storage. We have built a national reputation on design quality, reliable execution, and a boutique client experience that larger competitors cannot match. We grow intentionally — by earning the next show with the clients we already serve and by adding new clients who value the same level of care.
Red Door Three is a division of Trade Show Savvy LLC. Our DFW location at 1020 Mustang Drive in Grapevine sits minutes from one of the busiest airline hubs in the country. Trade shows happen in every major U.S. city, and DFW gives our team direct flights to almost all of them — meaning more time on show floors and in front of clients, and less time connecting through other airports.
The Role
This isn't a passive internship. You'll be making outbound calls, starting real conversations with business prospects, and learning firsthand how a B2B sales pipeline gets built. If you've ever wondered what "business development" actually looks like day-to-day — this is it.
You'll work directly with our sales team, get real coaching on phone and outreach skills, and leave with experience you can actually talk about in your next interview.
What You Will Do
The activities and targets below reflect our current expectations for this role. Because Trade Show Savvy is a growing small business, specific goals and activity benchmarks will be reviewed regularly and adjusted collaboratively — up or down — to reflect where the business is and to set everyone up to succeed. We don't set targets and walk away; we work alongside you to make sure they're the right targets at the right time.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients sourced from trade show exhibitor lists and industry directories
- Support email and Linked In outreach campaigns
- Research and build prospect lists using online tools and show directories
- Log calls and update lead records in our CRM
- Help qualify inbound leads and support follow-up outreach
- Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn the full sales process
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
- Are pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or something similar
- Don't mind (or actually enjoy) talking to people you've never met
- Are organized and can manage your own task list day-to-day
- Want real experience — not just something to put on your résumé
- Have worked in customer service, retail, or any people-facing role (helpful, not required)
What We Offer
- Hands-on outbound sales experience
- CRM and prospecting tool familiarity
- Mentorship from working sales professionals
- A clear understanding of the B2B sales cycle
- A story to tell in every future job interview about real quota-bearing activity
A Note From Us
We're a small team, which means you won't get lost. You'll get feedback, you'll get coached, and you'll get credit for what you contribute. If you're the kind of person who likes to figure things out and doesn't need to be told twice, you'll fit right in here.
